March 15, 2025:  Mercury turns Retrograde at Aries 9°35’, 2:46 am EDT.

On March 1, Venus turned retrograde at Aries 10°50’. Now Mercury is stationary, preparing to turn retrograde very close to the same place.

Mercury is our reality construct; what we believe reality to be. Mercury retrograde periods give us an opportunity to re-think, re-examine, and revise our perceptions. Mercury is allied with Thoth, the Sacred Scribe, in Egyptian myth.

Aries refers to the desires and needs of the individual. The individual wants the freedom to be fully who they are. Mercury retrograde in Aries provides an opportunity to examine what this means to us and address changes we want to make. Aries is allied with Kephera, the Rising Sun. Kephera is both a protector and a nurturer.

Venus is about values; what we want to receive. Venus in Aries wants the freedom to express individuality. This Venus retrograde period is magnified by Mercury retrograde. We have an opportunity to formulate our desires clearly and – where needed – state our values to those around us. This is a clarion call for each of us – what do you value? What do you want to receive? Venus is allied with Isis, Queen Mother of Heaven.

Mercury will turn retrograde 24 hours after the Virgo Lunar Eclipse. We have entered the two-week Eclipse Portal, a time of reflection and release. We are in a deeply tumultuous time and clarity of heart and mind will be required.

Mercury will be retrograde from March 15 to April 7. Venus will turn direct on April 12.
